What You’ll Need

  • Paint swatches
  • Twigs
  • Pencils/textas/stickers
  • Hole punch
  • Vase

* Tip – get a few more than you need, as not all shapes will be perfect, and we had a couple of hole punching misses!

Toddler Easter crafts - Easter tree

If your toddler or preschooler is learning how to use scissors then you can draw the shapes for them to practice their cutting.

You can cut bunny heads, easter eggs and other easter shapes that you might think of. We cut some of ours larger, and then some at about half size – this way you can get two shape from one paint sample swatch.

Once you have a little pile of shapes you can use a hole punch to give them each somewhere to hang- we hung some directly onto the tree and others with cotton thread.

Let your kids decorate the shapes in any way that they like and then they can be hung on the tree.
