Individual Jack O Lantern Cakes

For these little cakes I started with a round ball pan.
I iced two cake halves together for the round shape (on a little plastic plate). Then I used a small round tip in dark orange to section off the pumpkin.
I used a star tip in lighter orange to cover the whole pumpkin inside the sections.
I used a star tip with chocolate buttercream to make the stem, and a leaf tip to make the leaf. Then I used round tips to make the facial features in a variety of expressions. I finished it off by piping a grass border around the base of each pumpkin.
